Formaldehyde in Building Products

Air testing for formaldehyde has long been required by the New Jersey Department of Health for child care centers located near hair and nail salons and funeral homes. However, to complicate matters, formaldehyde is also found in many common building products, such as composite wood flooring, and sealants which results in off-gas.
